Dzogchen instructions from the Khandros of Yetri Thasel

Dzogchen teachings from the female lineage (Mo Gyud) of Yetri Thasel by Geshe Gelek Jinpa in Yeshe Sal Ling, St. Radegund bei Graz, Austria, September 15-16, 2018

Geshe Gelek Jinpa will give Dzogchen teachings centered around the experiential instructions left by the Khandros of the Mo Gyud of Yetri Thasel.

There are twenty-two Khandros in the female lineage of Yetri Thasel. Each one of them has left her life's experience condensed to one sentence of instruction together with a sign or gesture to her successor. Geshe Gelek will select one or more of these condensed Dzogchen instructions as the topic of his teachings.

This is a continuation of the series of teachings on the female lineage of Yetri Thasel that Geshe Gelek began in 2017, but the teachings in 2018 are independent of any previous ones. Each instruction by any of the Khandros gives rise to a teaching that can be enjoyed independently.

Literature: Geshe Gelek, together with Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche, and assisted by Carol Ermakova and Dima Ermakov as editors, has composed a lavishly illustrated book on the female lineage of Yetri Thasel, containing both the Tibetan original and an English translation of a biography of Choza Bonmo, of her song of experience, and of the essential instruction of each of the twenty-two Khandros: "Heart Essence of the Khandro" (Heritage publishers, 2012). A German translation of this book by Waltraud Benzing will soon be available.
